you exist
in the spaces between words,
in the pause after each comma,
at the end of unfinished lines,
unclear where they end and you begin
your presence is felt sharply
in a fullstop,
the broken line-
punctuated with a hyphen-
can be interpreted as a sharp halt,
looking for reassurance of your presence before continuing-
if you look for your reflection
in the words that i write
and you fail to find it
know that it is only because
you are the mirror itself
